Recordings or titlesets exceeding 4.7 GB will be shrinked automatically to the size of the used DVD blank.The broadcasting stations' higher Transmission rates often implicate that recordings larger than 4.7 GB or projects consisting of more than one record barely exceed the size of one DVD blank.Such projects had to be re-edited or oversized recordings had to be spread over several DVDs so far.DVR-Compress now reduces the size within a few minutes and customizes it exactly to the size of a DVD.DVR-Studio Pro (from version 1.40) will run DVR-Compress all-automatically if required, of course only in case of availability.These are the features of DVR-Compress:- Easy handling: Define the folder Video_TS to be shrinked, select the destination folder and click on the command button [Shrink].- Processing other software's titlesets is possible.- Automatic integration: DVR-Compress will be activated automatically as an intermediate step if you want to create a DVD using DVR-Studio Pro (from version 1.40 on) and the result would exceed the DVD blank's capacity. Afterwards, the DVD will be burnt as usual.- Fast Processing: The shrinking procedure of a 6 GB titleset to 4.7 GB will take about 12 minutes (Pentium 4 with 3.3 GHz, 1 GB memory).- Hardly any loss of quality: There will be hardly any visible quality loss if shrinking less than 20% of the original size.
