ist of coordinates and map projection parameters are specified by the user.System requirements * Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista or higher * Intel Pentium-III processor or higher * 128Mb of RAM * Display mode 1024I768 TrueColor The upper part of the dialog contains two control elements allowing the user to specify the source map projection and the destination projection. The lower part of the dialog contains two control elements of the list type, one of which allows the user to specify a set of input coordinates for further conversion and the other element displays the coordinates, received after conversion. The program dialog window also has a set of function buttons to load and save map projection parameters, conversion start button, and others. When the mouse pointer is moved to an element, the hint text describing the functions of this element appears on the main window status panel. Below is an overview of the basic elementsl functions of the main window. Software GUI description.Control element to specify map projection parametersThis control contains a list of parameters, describing the properties of the current map projection and their values. The parameter names are located to the left, having dark background and not accessible to the user for editing. The field to the right of the name contains the parameter value. Depending on the situation, this field can be either accessible (light background) or inaccessible (dark background) for editing. In editing mode, "Up" and "Down" board keys can be used to navigate through the parameters. The active parameter will be highlighted. Parameters inaccessible for editing will not be highlighted. The required map projection parameter can be also activated by clicking left mouse button on the parameterls name field or on its editing field. Parameters, describing the map projection, can be conventionally divided into several groups. The first group is comprised of parameters that can take on a limited set of fixed values. Such parameters can be changed using the drop-down list, which becomes accessible to the user when the parameter is active. The second group contains the numeric parameters of floating point type. When activated, this parameterls editing field becomes accessible. Mouse or "Left" and "Right" keys can be used to navigate. The third group is comprised of parameters containing latitude or longitude values. The user has two options to do editing and presentation of this type of parameters l to edit parameters in form of real numbers (degrees), or by presenting them in degrees, minutes and seconds. The button, located in the right corner of the parameter value field, is used to toggle the presentations modes. This control button becomes accessible to the user when the parameter is active. If another projection parameter is active or if the control element focus is lost the button disappears and data is displayed in the latest selected format. Depending on the type of the map projection, selected by the user, the number of displayed parameters can be changed in the same way as the number of parameters, accessible to the user for editing. The title, describing the current presentation of geo-projection, is located in the upper part of map projection parameters control element. By clicking left mouse button on the title the user can change the projection parameter presentation mode. The user can preview the map projection parameters in three modes: as a list of parameters (described above), as WKT line (Well Known Text) and as +PROJ line. Editing of map projection parameters is accessible to the user only in the list mode. Not any list of parameters, describing a map projection, (for example, in case of creating own non-standard projections) can be presented in WKT or +PROJ line mode. In WKT and +PROJ line modes the user will see a blank control element on the screen. By clicking the right mouse button inside the control element a context menu pops-up, helping the user to copy the projection parameters into the clipboard in one of the accessible presentation formats. Map projection parameters can be saved to a file using the oSaveo button, located under the control element. The oLoado button can be used to load map projection parameters to the control element. Map projection parameters are saved in three formats at the same time: WKT l line, +PROJ l line and the regular list of parameters. To load projection parameters from a file, the latter must contain the parameter description in list mode. Projection parameters description in other modes is optional. Control element to display coordinates This control represents a list of coordinates, containing three columns. The first column displays the ordinal number of coordinates, presented in the list. The second and third columns contain X and Y values of coordinates. More coordinates can be added using oAddo button, located below the list. Added coordinates can be edited after double clicking with left mouse button on the list element. The field being edited is outlined with a frame with a pointer. X and Y values of coordinates are edited independently. Editing can be completed by pressing oEntero keys, by switching the focus to another coordinate or in case of losing focus of the entire control element. List of coordinates can be saved to a file using the oSaveo button under the list. The oLoado button can be used to load the coordinates list into the control element. Only saving coordinates to a file is available for the list of converted coordinates in the right corner of the dialog window.Loaded coordinates file should be in form of lines, each containing two numerical values of floating point type separated with space. The number of loaded coordinates should not exceed 100. Coordinates can be deleted by selecting the required elements in the list and pressing the oDeleteo key. They can also be deleted using the right-click menu. Coordinates can be selected by clicking left mouse button on the required coordinate. "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys should be used to select several coordinates. The converted coordinates display control element allows only previewing the received results without enabling the user to edit the list. Data are presented in the format, similar to the source coordinates presentation format. Menu Three buttons located between the control elements, specifying the source and destination projections, enable the user to copy the projection parameters from one control element into another:> - copies the projection parameters from the left control element to the right one.Projection parameters update confirmation dialog box appears when these buttons are pressed.> - swaps the parameters of two map projections. The button, located between the coordinates display elements, enables to put the converted coordinatesl values into the list of source coordinates. This button is accessible to the user only if the list of converted coordinates is not empty. oSaveo button, oConverto button to start coordinates conversion and oCloseo button to close the application are located in the lower right corner of the application dialog window.
