Affordable pricing model license only scanner and allows to connect as many clients as needed for free. It is used by businesses of any size from home offices to banks and corporations. Any business can save expenses and office space by sharing a single scanner. It works with most Twain scanners and all Twain compliant scan applications including Adobe products. RemoteTwain uses standard HTTP protocol and can be used safely with Firewalls. Built-in security system allows managing access to scanner and prevents data loss.



Another common scenario to use RemoteTwain: if scanner does not have drivers for Windows 7 or does not work on 64 bit system. RemoteTwain allows connecting scanner to old computer in a network and share it. RemoteTwain can improve quality of scanned documents using Image Enhancement settings. It is possible to binarize scanned documents with better quality than it is done with most low end scanners. Also it can automatically detect image colorless and binarize if it is required. RemoteTwain can either smooth paper background or drop it out. This helps for OCR and barcode recognition quality.

RemoteTwain is not only a Twain driver but it has browser based scan application that can be helpful if just simple scan and save to PDF or TIFF is required.
