Microsoft PowerPoint lets you insert the current date and time within a text box on the slides. It also gives you an option of updating it automatically. True to its word, PowerPoint does update this field automatically but only at the start of the slide show. After that the date/time value remains the same throughout the slide show. You can get around this limitation using the free AutoDateTime addin.AutoDateTime keeps the inserted date/time up-to-date with the current system date/time. You can also configure AutoDateTime to show the time elapsed from the start of show. AutoDateTime also lets you customize the date and time display in a variety of formats.
