This network inventory tool allows you to collect hardware and software inventory data from Windows PCs in a local network into a centralized database. Inventory information can be collected from network PCs remotely in a silent mode. You don't need to install any client modules on remote PCs.The collected information includes a detailed specification of hardware and software assets used on the network PCs. In particular, the application collects information on the CPU, motherboard, memory, HDD and other hardware components, including their models, characteristics, serial numbers, etc. The inventory information also includes a list of applications installed on every PC. Software inventory information can be aggregated to show how many copies of each application are used. This information can be compared with the number of owned licenses to generate a license compliance report.You can use the application to scan the file system and registry on network PCs. For example, you can search for forbidden content, such as music and video files. The scan results show all files, folders and registry keys on the remote PCs that meet the specified criteria.The application includes a set of preconfigured inventory reports giving you an overview and details of your hardware and software assets. Those reports can be customized to include the company name and logo, and the author's name. You can also build custom reports using the visual report builder, which is a part of the application.
